Sharon Lee was born in a year of the dragon, and embodies many of the characteristics of that sign.
In addition to being irascible and stubborn, she practices eccentricity in the form of writing. So far, she has written fiction in three genres -- fantasy, science fiction, and mystery -- and may be said to have dabbled in romance, but probably not in the way you think.
The only person to have served as executive director, vice president, and president of Science Fiction and Fantasy Writers of America, Inc. (SFWA), Sharon is also an occasional freelancer for The Town Line, a weekly newspaper based in China, Maine.
Sharon Lee lives between the Kennebec and the Sebasticook rivers with her husband and co-author Steve Miller, two intrepid cats, and a large cast of characters.
